Here we have a vintage 1965 Vox AC50 MK III tube amplifier head! This one is in very good condition overall and good functioning order. The amp is serial number 2220, and is the solid state rectified spec manufactured in England by JMI. It is the tall or big box version which has the chassis mounted to a slider board for easy servicing. The grille cloth has some tears, but the tolex and handle are in fairly good shape. This gray panel amp has two channels with two inputs per channel, along with volume, treble and bass controls. It also has a voltage selector knob. There is an xlr power port and the amp includes a modern cable with a US 3 prong plug. The speaker out section has been replaced with a metal grill and there is a simple hard-wired female 1/4 jack in place. The amp has seen service over the years as you'd expect.
