Description

Here we have an awesome Vox AC50 head! This vintage amp was built in England by JMI around 1965 and is the MK III version with a solid state rectifier. It is in very good condition and good functioning order. The cabinet appears to be a newer build, possibly a North Coast unit. It shows some dirt in the corners and crevices of the tolex, plus there are some tears along the vents on the top. The power cable is a modern 3-prong that has been hardwired. This one is serial 03774 on the exterior plate, and the cabinet is the shorter, deeper "small box" variant. It has dual channels, two inputs per channel, volume/treble/bass controls for each channel and a variable voltage selector.
