Description

Here is a cool vintage 1965 Vox AC50 tube amplifier head! This one is in very good condition overall and good functioning order. It is serial number 05359 on the three field plate, made in England by JMI. This is the MK III version which is solid state rectified. This tall box or big box version offers a small storage compartment for cables below the chassis at the back of the amp, plus the chassis is mounted to a slider board making it easier to remove for service. The amp shows some dirt down in the texture of the covering as well as in the corners. There are some light tears and other signs of age and use, but has survived quite well. It is a gray panel amp with two channels, two inputs per channel and volume/treble/bass controls for each channel. It has a variable voltage selector knob and comes with a US 3-prong power cable.
