Description
Here we have a vintage Vox AC15 tube guitar amplifier! This two channel amp features dual inputs per channel, independent volume controls, a master tone, and of course onboard tremolo. The trem effect has variable speed and is footswitchable. This amp has seen some stuff over the years! The cabinet has a handful of holes that have been filled, and there are extra holes in the chassis. We assume it was modded or rewired at some point, but appears to be back to the original circuit. The output transformer is changed and it’s recapped. It has a 12” Goodmans speaker, as well as a cool Jennings plaque on the front. The amp is in great working order and sounds fantastic. It has a big, bold cleans with good volume, but when you push it, you can also get a searing lead tone out of it. The trem effect is strong and sounds quite nice as well. Even though it’s not collector grade, its sound more than makes up for it.
