Here we have a very nice Tokai ES156 SR semi-hollow electric guitar! This one is in very good condition overall.

Specs include a thinline maple body with center block, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and dot inlays. It has Deluxe style tuners, a stop tailpiece and an ABR-1 style bridge. It’s loaded with dual humbucker and has nickel hardware. The nut width is 1 5/8” and the scale length is a touch shorter at 24 5/8”.

The guitar has been lightly played but well cared for. There is light player wear on the guard, and there are a handful of topical scratches on the top and back. There is light circular wear around the strap buttons as well. There are a few minor pinpoint dings to note too, but no large dents or major damage to note.

The guitar weighs 7lbs 10oz. The neck measures .800 to 1.010 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped neck with a medium shoulder and virtually flat apex. We love the dark board on this one and the scale length keeps it playing quite slinky. It really growls when you dig into the strings, and the guitar bends easily. It’s clearly well-made and a joy to play.
