Product Description
Here we have a neat '60s Teisco hollowbody electric guitar! This thinline double cutaway model is in good shape with a set of fine-sounding pickups.
The guitar features bolt-on construction and a fully hollow body with a sound post. The body, neck, headstock, and F holes are bound. It has cool Ric style inlays and a zero fret. Their take on the Bigsby tailpiece is pretty nice and quite usable. The dual foil pickups sound really great, and there is a myriad of tones available with the on board switching. The nut is 1 5/8" wide, and the scale length is 24.5".
The guitar is 6lbs 2oz. The neck measures .880 to .990 at the 1st and 9th and has a full C shape profile. It plays well up and down the board with the vintage fret wire. The bass side of the neck has a touch of a bow to it while the treble side is pretty straight. The finish on the back is delaminating a bit at the edges. The foil pickups have plenty of sparkle and chime, they are definitely the highlight of the instrument!
Ships in a non-original gig bag.
