Description
Here we have a cool Taylor SB1-X Solidbody Classic electric guitar! This 2007 model is in very good condition.
Specs include an ash body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, and pearloid guard. It has a 1 11/16" nut width, 12" radius and 24 7/8" scale length. It's loaded with dual Taylor humbuckers and has a 5-way selector switch with volume and tone controls.
This guitar has a notable paint chip in the cutaway. Otherwise it's actually quite clean and in excellent condition. There are light signs of use and handling, but not much else in the way of player wear or damage.
This one weighs in right at 7lbs. The neck measures .800 to .860 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a modern C neck that isn't too big and has a fast feel with the satin finish. The guitar is slinky with a warm, woody punch off of the body and excellent sustain. The pickups are articulate with good balance between treble and bass. Overall it's a well-designed and well-built instrument!
Ships in the original Taylor hardshell case and includes the truss rod tool, owner registration pamphlet, feature manual and a printout of the bridge adjustment instructions.
