Base specs include a Lutz Spruce Top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, and ebony fretboard. It comes stock with the Taylor Expression System 2 electronics, V-Class bracing, and their Belle Fleur fingerboard inlay. The Builder's Edition player-friendly comfort features include a silent satin finish, beveled armrest, beveled cutaway, and chamfered body edges.
This one weighs 4lbs 12oz. It has the classic Taylor neck shape, a slim oval C that is supremely comfortable. The guitar is well balanced tonally with crisp highs and a warm round bass note. It's quick to respond and individual notes are quite articulate. The BE models are fantastic, and the ornate pearl purfling makes this one of our favorite Taylor models.
