Here we have a Taylor 816ce Builder's Edition Grand Symphony acoustic guitar! The Builder's Edition models are packed with features and we find them to be among the finest Taylors ever produced.

This 2020 model features a Lutz spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, a tropical mahogany neck, West African Crelicam ebony fretboard, and ES2 electronics. Additionally, the 816ce-BE features a silent satin finish which looks great, but also aids in quieting the instrument as you handle it in a live or recording scenario. Another unique spec with this model is the Soundport Cutaway, which leaves the back of the guitar in-tact for full resonance, while allowing access to the higher register.

The guitar is in excellent condition overall. There is not much in the way of play wear to note, and no real dings or damage. It weighs 4lbs 13oz. The neck is your traditional Taylor carve, which is super modern and comfortable. It has a full wide spectrum tone, enhanced by the Soundport Cutaway. It's bold and round with a nice top end and a slightly scooped mid. Really a treat to play.

Ships in the original hardshell case which has a few scuffs to its exterior.
