Here we have a Taylor 814ce acoustic-electric guitar! This Grand Auditorium features ES-2 electronics and is in very good condition.
Specs include a spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, and ebony bridge. It has an armrest, rosewood pickguard, smoked nickel tuners, and Taylor’s Element fingerboard inlays. The nut width is 1 3/4” and the scale length is 25.5”.
The guitar is in very good condition overall. It has some light pick marks on the guard and a few little dings on the back of the body. Mostly it shines like new though.
It weighs 4lbs 11oz. The neck measures .790 to .840 at the 1st and 10th frets. The Taylor neck is a modern oval C that plays evenly up and down the register. The guitar has excellent volume with a bold low end and crisp highs. It’s a fine sounding example with pure acoustic tone, as you might expect from their flagship model.
