Here is a great sounding Taylor 314ce-L7 Limited Edition guitar. This 2004 model is in good condition with some notable play wear.

This guitar features Tasmanian Blackwood back and sides, along with a spruce top. It has a mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and ebony bridge. It has a 25.5" scale and 1 3/4" nut width. The top is gloss finish while the back and sides are satin. It has the Taylor on-board electronics as well.

The guitar has a large notable ding on the top at the body edge behind the bridge. Also behind the bridge is a band of numerous tiny dings across the top, we assume from someone tapping rhythmically on the instrument. The back of the body shows fraint wear in a few areas. The neck has a number of tiny dings and marks over its surface, a few of which can be felt while playing. The back edge of the body shows some light finish flaking on the corners of the binding. The frets are in good shape with faint wear detectable down low on the higher strings.

The guitar weighs 4lbs 10oz. This one plays wonderfully and sounds very good. It is quite loud and resonant with excellent clarity and nice mid-range warmth. There isn't much bass about it, but it does produce a wonderful acoustic tone that we think would sound great recorded. Single notes, especially in the middle register of the board, sound particularly nice with natural reverb emanating from the body.

Overall a fun, well-played, but great instrument! Ships in the original hardshell case.
