Here we have a very nice sounding Taylor 314ce from 2002! This cutaway Grand Auditorium model features Fishman Prefix Plus electronics.

Other specs include a spruce top, mahogany neck, ebony board, and mahogany back and sides. It has dot inlay markers, an ebony bridge, tortoise guard, and Grover tuners. It has a 25.5" scale and a 1 3/4" nut width.

The guitar is in good shape overall with some player wear. There are a number of light dings and surface scratches over the gloss top. The body and neck show light surface marks, faint scratches and a few light dings. There is one crack in the back near the treble side edge of the lower bout. There is some finish cracking and subtle delamination on the top edge at the binding where the gloss meets the satin. The bridge pins are changed to Planet Waves genuine ebony wood pins. There are no major dents and the guitar seems quite stable structurally.

This one weighs 4lbs 14oz. The neck measures .850 to .920 at the 1st and 9th. It has a modern C neck profile that is super comfortable to play. The guitar navigates easily up and down the fretboard. It has a wonderful acoustic tone that is loud and clear with a nice bit of natural reverb emanating from the body. It has a nicely pure acoustic tone that translates well through the onboard pickup system. A great gigging guitar, something that will perform just fine and already shows some honest play wear.
