Here we have a beautiful Takamine LTD2022 in excellent condition. This 60th Anniversary model is built in Japan and based on Takamine’s ground-breaking PT-05E model.

Features include a solid spruce top, Hawaiian koa back & sides, a mahogany neck, and an ebony fretboard. It has a 25.4" scale length (644mm) and a 42.5mm nut width. It is equipped with the CTF - 2N preamp and finished in a burnt sienna tint. To celebrate the 60th Anniversary there is also a 12th fret inlay made to look like an "excellent cut" diamond.

The original PT-05E was sort of of a classical guitar shape, but designed to be played with steel strings. The LTD2022 follows suit in terms of shape and feel when holding it. The guitar weighs 4lbs 12oz. The neck measures .890 to .980 at the 1st and 9th. It has a rounded C shape profile with a nice full shoulder. 

The guitar is minty clean and appears mostly to be like new. It has a warm mid range tone with a nice band of bass. It has a touch of a boxy sound, almost like a parlor ladder braced instrument, when played lightly, but really opens up when pushed. It's crisp and clear but not overly bright. The guitar also has very good resonance and natural reverb emanating from deep within.

  This one sounds fantastic and it's a joy to play. There's no wonder why Takamine has been a leader in acoustic guitar building for over 60 years now. Ships in the original softshell case.
