Here we have a really cool Suhr Classic S Antique in Firemist Gold! This one is lightly aged at the factory and in excellent condition overall.
Specs include an alder body, roasted maple neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, compound 9” to 12” radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets. It has a Wilkinson Year One 6-screw bridge as well as Gotoh Kluson tuners. It’s loaded with an SSV at the bridge and V63 pickups in the middle and neck positions. It also has a push-push pot for coil tapping the humbucker.
This guitar shows light factory aging which is mostly checking on the lacquer finish body. There are a few light pick marks on the guard and other faint signs of use, but mostly the guitar looks factory new. There is no major wear or any issues.
This one weighs 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .810 to .930 at the 1st and 12th. It is a 60s C vintage standard profile which reminds us of a classic slab board carve. The neck is roasted and oiled giving it smooth, worn-in feel. The guitar plays with precision and has a nice twangy, glass sound off of the body.
Ships in the original Suhr padded gig bag and includes the build sheet and tremolo arm.
