Description
Here we have a wild old electric guitar that looks like a Stiles build from the 1960s. This "Batwing" sports a bright yellow finish and is in good shape overall.
It has a maple neck, rosewood board, dot inlays, 21 frets, vintage style fret wire, and a zero fret. The nut width is 1 5/8” and the scale length is 25.5”. It has a set of Kluson Deluxe tuners, a six saddle bridge and dual single coil pickups.
We have not seen this shape before, so it's possible the body was reworked at some point. The yellow finish is likely not original either. There is also an odd patch on the back of the headstock.
It weighs 5lbs 12oz. The neck measures .720 to .850 at the 1st and 12th frets, and has a C neck profile. The guitar is cool looking and has a vibe. Not the best playing old guitar we’ve ever had, but is on par with other pawn shop style vintage guitars.
Ships in a padded gig bag.
