Silvertone Model 1481 5w 1x8" Combo 1960s - Gray

Here we have a fun little Silvertone 1481 tube guitar amplifier! This is a 5 watt amp with a single 8" speaker. It's co-branded Sears and sports a gray covering with wheat grill cloth. The grill looks to be thumb tacked into place at the bottom. Some of the screws holding the chassis and back panel in place look newer. It has a modern 3 prong cable as well. The covering looks to be in great shape showing light age and some dust in the corners. See images for internals. The amp is in good functioning condition. It has a cool vintage tone, a touch mid-rangey and boxy versus say a Fender amp, but a cool vibe. It breaks up nicely when you push it, and being 5w it doesn't get super loud. It sounds just like you'd expect from an old Silvertone. Vintage collectible electronic items are sold as-is. We recommend service for daily use.
