This is such a fun little amp, it can do anything from deep and chimey cleans all the way to full blown fuzz saturation. The reverb can add a subtle depth up to a drenched, gazy drone. All the musicality and versatility Silktone is known for.
The Echonaut builds on the legacy of the Micronaut, offering more power and an expanded feature set. With double the power, tube-driven spring reverb, and oversized transformers, it provides greater headroom and a deeper low-end response—all in a portable 10" combo making it a perfect grab-and-go amp.
The carefully designed cabinet and 10" speaker deliver a surprisingly full-range sound, extending flat down to 40Hz while maintaining the speed and clarity expected from smaller speakers. It even outperforms many 12" cabs while staying lightweight and easy to transport.
For tone shaping, the Echonaut features a tilt EQ and a voice switch with two modes:
- Mode I: Clean and sweet, with plenty of headroom for pedals.
- Mode II: Grittier and harmonically rich, with enhanced touch sensitivity.
Its line-out, driven by a dedicated transformer winding, preserves the amp’s natural character, making it easy to integrate into live or studio setups. So many uses here. Pairing a cranked Echonaut with its line-out through effects into another amp opens up an impressive stereo soundscape.
