Here we have an awesome 2001 Reverend USA Rocco! This one sports an aluminum engine turned top and is one of 36 that were produced.
Other specs include the Reverend composite body with polymer rim and phenolic back, as well as a maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays and Grover mini tuners. It has a string through body hardtail bridge with a multiply black guard. It’s loaded with dual humbuckers and has dual coil tap mini switches, a master volume, master tone and a 3-way switch.
This Rocco is in very good condition overall. It shows light play wear on the guard with some heavy pick marks concentrated on the treble side of the strings. There are also some circular scratches around the knobs, and light scratches on the pickup covers. The rest of the instrument is pretty clean however with no issues. The frets look to be in good shape.
This one weighs 6lbs 9oz. The neck measures .790 to .870 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a classic oval C neck profile that is on the slimmer side, but not too thin. It has a 25.5” scale length and 1 11/16” nut width. The guitar plays easily and evenly up and down the neck. It has a slinky feel and good response under the picking hand as well. It’s a finely crafted instrument with a nice mix of vintage aesthetic and modern functionality!
