Here we have a beautiful PRS Private Stock McCarty 594! This one features an Ultra Violet nitro finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include a quilted maple top, black limba body, black limba neck, hormigo fingerboard, curly maple neck & headstock binding, and curly maple outline bird inlays with matching stain. It has a pattern thin neck profile, 24.594” scale length, and 1 11/16” nut width. The pickups are 58/15 LT humbuckers, and it has the Two Piece bridge with Phase III locking tuners.
The guitar is in excellent shape with a little patina on the metal parts. There is a small ding on the top edge, at the binding near the bass-side waist. There are a few other superficial marks noticeable when inspected closely, but nothing major.
This one weighs 8lbs 8oz. The neck measures .810 to .900 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium C neck with a modern feel and medium shoulder. This guitar is well-appointed with the curly maple neck and headstock binding that matches the scraped top binding, the quilted maple truss rod cover, and the limba control plates. It’s really a stunning instrument that really lives up to the Private Stock reputation.
