Description
Here we have a 2000 PRS McCarty Limited with a Brazilian Rosewood neck and board! This one is numbered 203/250 and is signed by Paul Smith on the backplate.
Specs include a figured maple top, mahogany body, half moon dot inlays, 22 frets, a 25” scale length, wrap around bridge, and non-locking tuners. It has McCarty Treble & Bass pickups, and the tone control is a push/pull for coil tap. This model also features their Wide Fat neck profile.
It’s in very good shape for its age with some light player wear to note. There is a small ding on the top edge by the scraped binding. The hardware shows a little patina. There are a few other faint topical marks but nothing in the way of damage.
The guitar weighs 9lbs 2oz. The neck measures .860 to .940 at the 1st and 12th frets. The Wide Fat profile is certainly vintage inspired with a medium/full depth while not being egregiously large. The guitar is setup with 9s as it was from the factory and has a very nice slinkiness to it. We love the Brazilian neck and the natural unfinished feel it has. Overall a cool, signed piece with a great top!
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the Eagle Tag, truss rod tool, and McCarty Model card.
