Here we have a great-playing McCarty 594 Singlecut from 2020! This PRS build features a very nice flame maple top and a black gold burst finish.
Other specs include a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has a pattern vintage neck shape, vintage style tuners and a PRS Two-Piece bridge. The pickups are a set of 58/15 LT humbuckers.
The guitar is in very good shape. It has a handful of small dings on the back, a few of which show exposed wood. There are other light surface scratches and scuffs with a couple areas of concentrated light scratches. The top also has a few tiny pin point dings, as well as a notable ding at the back edge. The corner of the headstock has a light finish flaw and some of the hardware shows light oxidation. Though this one has been played and has these condition notes above, it does shine like new mostly.
This one weighs 8lbs 3oz. The neck measures .880 to .980 at the 1st and 12th. It's a full C profile down low that fattens a touch just before it blends into the neck heel. This one has great clarity with a warm woodiness behind the note. Single note lines are particularly nice, and the guitar really navigates well up and down the board.
This guitar ships in a PRS padded gig bag and includes the sticker and paperwork, though there is no hang tag or tools.
