PRS Brent Mason Signature Model with Maple Fretboard 2013 - Vintage Cherry

Here we have a 2013 Brent Mason Signature Model from PRS! This is a super cool artist guitar that has been well-played!

This one features a Korina body, 25 1/4" scale length, and a maple neck. The pickups are specially-wound narrow 408 treble and bass pickups with a 305 pickup in the middle position. There is a 5-way switch along with volume and tone controls, plus mini switches for coil tapping the humbuckers.

The guitar has notable marks on the pickguard, and the natural finish neck shows some dirt from playing. There are a number of tiny dings and dents on the body, with plenty of light buckle wear on the back, a few areas where the finish is worn through, and surface swirls throughout. The hardware shows some patina and oxidation, especially on the bridge saddles.

This one weighs 7lbs 10oz. The neck measures .880 to .960 at the 1st and 12th. It has a full rounded C shape to it, larger in profile reminding us of a nice vintage guitar. The frets show faint divots in the lower register, but the notes ring out true. The guitar plays great overall. It's resonant and slinky as you'd like it to be.
