Here we have a neat Ovation Celebrity Model CS274 acoustic/electric bass guitar! This appears to be from the late 90s, and was built in Korea.

Specs include a spruce top, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and a Lyrachord deep bowl back. It has a 34” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width and an ebony bridge with compensated saddles. The body features a cutaway as well as the Ovation OP30 electronics.

This bass has light scratches and faint marks from playing on the top, as well as some patina. The body and neck show a few faint marks, scuffs and light signs of playing. The tuners show light wear and patina.

This bass weighs 5lbs 14oz. The neck measures .850 to .960 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a medium C shaped neck with a stain finish. We love the cutaway body for higher access and find that this bass plays smoothly up and down the neck in general. The electronics include an onboard tuner and EQ, plus the whole system pops out easily for battery changes.
