Here we have a really neat National Reso-Phonic Res-o-Lectric guitar from 2011! This model is in good shape with some light finish wear over the body.
Specs include a mahogany body, figured maple top veneer, flame maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. It has diamond inlays with medium jumbo fret wire, a 1 3/4" nut width, and a 25 1/2" scale length. There is a P-90 pickup at the neck, as well as a Highlander IP-1X saddle pickup. It's finished off with a nice pearloid headstock veneer and a grained ivoroid guard.
This guitar shows moderate finish wear and delamination on the body. It's a satin body finish that now has a weathered or aged look to it. The neck and frets are in good condition. The metal parts show light wear and oxidation. There are no major dents or player damage.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 10oz. The neck measures .900 to .950 at the 1st and 12th. It has a D shaped carve with a medium shoulder and almost flat apex. It has a very nice resonator tone with medium volume, and is fun to play acoustically. Plugged in though, we appreciate the P-90 neck tone and mixture of saddle pickup, with a nice amount of the resonator sound translating through the amp. Overall a well-designed model with nice aesthetics!
