Product Description
Here we have an awesome Nacho Blackguard, serial # 0004. This 50s replica is hand aged to perfection!
Specs include an ash body, maple neck, 9.5” radius, medium fret wire, and a vintage style bridge with brass saddles. It has the iconic black phenolic resin guard which has be lacquered and aged like an original. The guitar is loaded with two ‘50s style pickups that measure 8.38k at the bridge and 6.88k at the neck.
The guitar is painstakingly built, finished and aged to replicate the original Blackguard instruments being manufactured in the early 1950s. It appears to be all original and well-kept.
This guitar weighs 7lbs 3oz. The neck measures .840 to .910 at the 1st and 12th frets. As advertised, it has all the mojo and vibe you could want out of a modern build, encapsulating the aesthetic of vintage examples. The guitar is woody and punchy off of the body with plenty of resonance and a nice twangy top end. The pickups are quite special too, standing up to any reissue instruments being made.
It ships in the original G&G tweed case with a Nacho Guitars badge on the exterior. It includes the COA, build sheet, bridge cover, CD, leather pouch and other paperwork.
