Here we have an awesome MTD Lynn Keller Signature 532-24! This 5-string bass is from 2016 and is in excellent condition.
It features a burled maple top, mahogany body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, and matching burled maple headstock veneer. It has a 32” scale length, 1 3/4” nut width, 24 frets and 16.5mm string spacing. It’s loaded with a set of custom Bartolini pickups and has active electronics. The finish is a cool satin dark cherry diagonal fade.
This bass appears to be the one shown at the 2017 NAMM show. It has light signs of use and handling when inspected closely, but remains in excellent condition. There is a Hipshot Xtender installed on the low E string but the original tuner is included.
This one weighs 8lbs 2oz. The neck measures .790 to .860 at the 1st and 12th. It has an oval C neck with a quick shoulder and thin depth. The bass is setup E to C and plays great. The 32” scale still produces a tight and focused low end with excellent string feel under the right hand. We dig the narrower string spacing which has a familiar feel without coming off too crowded. Overall a wonderful looking and playing instrument.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the side dot flashlight, allen key, paperwork, original low E tuner and an older set of strings.
