Description
Here we have a beautiful MTD 530-24 bass guitar with a cool Caribbean Ocean Blue Fade! This one is in excellent condition overall.
It features a burled maple top, ash body, maple neck, birdseye maple fingerboard and matching burled headstock veneer. It has a 30” scale length with 24 frets and 19mm string spacing. The tuners are Hipshot and it has a set of Bartolini pickups.
The bass is in great shape overall. It appears to have been lightly played but well maintained. The color has aged subtly and appears more green than it would have been new. The original blue is still present on the side of the knobs and looks less aged on the back. There are some light signs of use and handling when inspected closely, but there is really no damage or notable wear.
It weighs in at 7lbs 9oz. The neck measures .810 to .890 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a slim D neck with a medium shoulder that quickly turns into a flat oval. It feels great, especially with the satin finish. The bass is setup E to C and navigates effortlessly up and down the register. It’s truly a work of art that plays exactly as you’d hope.
Ships in a padded Mono gig bag.
