Here we have a really nice MTD 535-24 bass guitar! This one features a walnut top with matching headstock.

Specs include an avodire body, maple neck, ebony board, 35” scale length, 24 frets and 19mm bridge. It has Hipshot open gear tuners, a zero fret, and matching wooden knobs. It’s loaded with dual Bartolini pickups and includes the standard active preamp.

This bass has been lightly played but remains in very good condition. There are some light signs of use on the top around the pickups, as well as a few light topical marks across the instrument when inspected closely. There is no major damage though.

It weighs in at 8lbs 6oz. It has a slim D shaped neck that has a rounded shoulder and an oval apex. It’s quite comfortable to play and feels similar to other MTD basses we've had. We love the satin finish as well as the walnut / ebony face contrasted with the lighter avodire / maple back. This one plays effortlessly up and down the register, with nice response under the right hand. It has nice a bass note too but still has mid-range definition and attack.
