Description
Here we have an MJT S-Style electric guitar build! This one features a recent pine VTS body, paired with an older MJT figured maple neck with Fender licensed headstock.
Other specs include an aged blonde finish, gold anodized guard, Kluson bridge, and Kluson tuners. The bridge pickup is a Seymour Duncan Little '59, and the neck/middle pickups are Fender Custom Shop '54 Strat single coils. It has a 5-way switch and a push/pull volume pot for coil tapping the bridge humbucker. It has a master volume, master tone, and a neck blend knob.
The body was painted and aged by MJT and came loaded with the aged bridge and aged jack plate. The neck was finished and aged by MJT as well. It has a 1 5/8" nut with medium jumbo fret wire, 9.5" radius, and 25.5" scale length.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 4oz. The neck measures .790 to .890 at the 1st and 12th. It has a slim C shape to it, reminiscent of a 1960 profile. The neck plays easy and fast up the register. The guitar sustains for days and sounds really good. It has chime, twang, clarity and articulation. The body and neck really marry well, and the guitar has a nice depth of tone acoustically with a touch of natural reverb.
Ships in a Fender gig bag and includes the tremolo arm.
