Mike Lull P4 P-Style 4-String 2001 - Candy Apple Red

Here we have a neat Mike Lull Custom Guitars P4 in Candy Apple Red! This one appears to be from 2001 and is in very good condition.

Specs include an alder body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, 21 frets, 12” radius and 1 11/16” nut width. It has a 34” scale length with an aluminum bridge and bone nut. The tuners are Hipshot Ultralites, it has passive electronics, and a custom wound Basslines P-style pickup with 1964 voicing.

This bass has a photo of Mike with it at what appears to be the 2001 NAMM Show. It has been played but well-cared for. There is a notable dent on the upper horn, with a few other tiny dings on the top and another small dent on the side. There are light topical marks across the instrument with light wear on the guard and a light patina on the metal parts. The frets are in good shape.

This bass weighs 9lbs 9oz. The neck measures .760 to .910 at the 1st and 12th. It has a modern oval C neck carve with a satin neck finish. It’s a great vintage-style build, competently done with modern components. The bass is well-balanced and plays wonderfully up and down the register.

Ships in the original soft shell case and includes an images from NAMM 2001 and other paperwork.
