Description

Here we have an insanely cool vintage Mesa Boogie Mark II 1x15 combo amplifier! This is an early 1978 production model, serial number 327, with a factory Electro-Voice EVM-15L speaker, housed in the iconic wooden cabinet with wicker front. The chassis was recently fully serviced and recapped by Mesa Boogie in California. The speaker was unfortunately ripped, so it has been re-coned with an OEM kit by Speaker Exchange in Florida. This “A” variant of the MKII was built or modified to have a post-effects loop master volume. Additionally the Gain/Boost works in reverse, where it’s full gain pushed in, and cleans up when pulled out. This amp features the Simul-Class switch, graphic EQ, reverb, presence control, effects loop, slave jack, and an onboard fan. It’s an impressive piece of engineering, and having just received factory service, is ready for daily use for years to come. Includes the original internal parts removed by Mesa Boogie, as well as a dust cover.
