Here we have a Mensinger Joker B 5P short-scale fretless bass guitar! This semi-hollow sports a natural finish and is in excellent condition.
Specs include an ash top, ash body, 3-piece maple neck, ebony board, lined fingerboard, luminlay side dots, and gold hardware. It has a 30” scale length, 1 3/4” nut width, and 14” radius. The bridge features piezo saddles, and there is a centrally located magnetic humbucker. The controls include stacked volume/tone knobs, one for each pickup, as well as an active/passive switch.
The bass is in excellent shape and does not appear to have been played much at all. The gold hardware shows a little wear/patina, but there’s not much else to note in the way of player wear.
It weighs 9lbs 13oz. The neck measures .820 to .920 at the 1st and 12th frets. The neck has medium depth, with an oval carve and virtually no shoulder. The bass plays great and has excellent build quality. We love the natural satin feel too.
