Description
Here we have a McPherson Sable carbon fiber acoustic guitar! This one is from 2021 and features the honeycomb top pattern.
This guitar has a cantilevered neck with 14 frets clear of the body, ring inlays, and Schaller tuners. The nut and saddle are composite, and the body features a cutaway with an offset soundhole. The nut width is 1 3/4", the scale length is 25 1/2" and the string spacing is 2 3/16". It's loaded with an LR Baggs Element pickup.
The guitar is in excellent condition. It shows some light topical marks and signs of playing, but there is no real damage. These guitars seem quite resilient too.
It weighs 5lbs 10oz. The neck measures .820 to .880 at the 1st and 10th. It has a modern C neck shape that feels quite familiar. The guitar is loud and resonant with plenty of sustain. It has nice articulation and clarity with a good amount of bass. It has a surprisingly nice acoustic sound for the complete lack of wood used in manufacturing. A really interesting model and a joy to play.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the feedback buster, alternate saddle, hang tag and paperwork.
