Product Description
Here we have a very nice Martin HD-28V from 2002. This Vintage Series model is a faithful recreation of the iconic pre-war Herringbone Dreadnought.
Specs include a spruce top, rosewood back & sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and ebony bridge. It has a rosewood headplate, open gear tuners, a diamond & square inlay pattern and a tortoise guard. The top and back are bound with herringbone top purfling.
The guitar is in very good condition. It has a few dings on the body along with a few faint scratches and other topical marks. The guard shows pick wear as well. There is no major damage.
This one weighs 4lbs 7oz. The neck measures .840 to 1.000 at the 1st and 10th frets. It has a vintage style soft V neck that fills out subtly higher up the register. The guitar is big and bold sounding with excellent volume and resonance. It has very nice clarity with a strong bass note and good single note articulation. Really a great example in every way.
Ships in the original hardshell case which shows some discoloration to the interior.
