Product Description
Here we have a Martin D-15 dreadnought acoustic guitar! It has an aftermarket Fishman under-saddle pickup installed.
Specs include a mahogany body, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, rosewood bridge, 14-fret neck joint, sealed Martin tuners, and a tortoise guard. Being a 15 style instrument, it has a satin finish. The scale length is 25.4” and the nut width is 1 5/8”.
The guitar has two long cracks repaired on the treble side. There are a handful of faint impressions on the back of the neck, and there is some wear around the edges of the body. Additionally, you’ll see normal player wear, and a bit of patina across the instrument. The rosette is a decal that has been strummed through. The Fishman system has an under saddle piezo with controls mounted inside the soundhole, a battery pack, and an endpin jack.
This one weighs 4lbs 3oz. The neck measures .820 to .940 at the 1st and 10th frets. It has a soft V neck profile with a faint apex, that at times feels like an oval C neck. The guitar is a real player with light, authentic wear, but a really nice overall sound. It’s warm and colorful with excellent volume and nice articulation. The pickup is a great addition too, making this a great option for gigging.
Ships in the original hardshell case.
