Product Description
Here we have a vintage 1969 Marshall Major Full Stack! The head is a Model 1978 Major Bass variant with 200 watts of power, two channels, two volumes, and KT88 power. It has a grounded US plug and looks to have seen some service over the years. The cabinets are Models 1982 and 1982/B angled and straight cabs, also from 1969, both loaded with four T1281 Celestion Greenback 12” speakers. This stack is in very good condition overall. There is some light wear across all pieces and some light patina down in the grain of the tolex. The amp is in good functioning order however and sounds fantastic. The 200w head actually gives you a ton of headroom without driving. It gets extremely loud, as you might guess, but really stays sparkling clean. It’s a wonderful find, and great vintage example!
