When it launched, it put 16 studio-quality delay models — including tape echo, analog delay, digital delay, and reverse delay — into a single, rugged floor unit at a price that made it accessible to working musicians everywhere. The 14-second loop sampler was equally groundbreaking for its time, and the DL4 became a fixture on the boards of everyone from touring professionals to bedroom players.
