Here we have a Larrivee D-40 Vintage Custom dreadnought acoustic guitar! This one features a satin sunburst finish and is in excellent condition overall.
Specs include a mahogany top, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, ebony head plate, and ebony pyramid bridge. It has a rosewood bridge plate with scalloped hybrid bracing. The top features bold rope purfling with a bold rope rosette. The body and neck are bound with maple. The guitar has a 25.5” scale length, 1 11/16” nut width, 16” radius, and 16” lower bout width.
This guitar is in excellent condition. There are a few light signs of handling when inspected closely, but mostly it looks factory clean.
This one weighs 4lbs 13oz. The neck measures .790 to .920 at the 1st and 10th frets. It has a medium oval C neck that feels very modern, and is consistent in depth up until the neck heel transition. The guitar has a warm mid-range tone with sparkling highs. It has nice clarity overall with medium volume and a touch of natural reverb. The guitar plays quite well and has an excellent feel.
Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the truss rod tool.
