Here we have a wonderful 00-40 Koa Special Edition acoustic guitar from Larrivee! This 2025 model features a natural satin finish and is in excellent condition.

Specs include a moon spruce top, lightly figured koa back/sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, vine logo headstock inlay and radial koa rosette. It is made from solid woods with an X-braced top and scalloped hybrid bracing. It has maple neck binding, rope purfling and rosewood body binding. It’s a 14” wide guitar with a 4 3/8” body depth at the heel, 25.5” scale length and 1 3/4” nut width.

This one is in unplayed condition. It appears to be factory fresh and doesn’t seem to have much playing time on it at all.

The guitar weighs 3lbs 11oz. The neck measures .760 to 1.010 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has a medium C shaped neck profile that is consistent in depth until the neck heel transition. This model is wonderfully appointed and is built incredibly well. It has an excellent tone with soft mids, clear treble and a harpsichord-like attack. It certainly gives us vintage vibes, but is also as nice as any boutique builder we’ve had.

Ships in the original hardshell case and includes the truss rod tool.
