Here we have a vintage Lafayette tube amplifier! This one appears to be a Univox-made amp from Japan. It has around 15 watts, 6AQ5 power, and a 12” Jensen Special Design speaker. It’s seen internal service over the years and has a modern grounded 3 prong power cable. The amp has two channels with two inputs each, as well as volume and tone controls for each channel. It also has a tremolo effect that is strong and sounds very nice. This amp drives quite easily and actually gets a pretty crunchy heavy rock tone when set to 10. It’s in very good shape overall and a fine sounding amp if you want a touch of gain at low volumes.
