Product Description
Here is a really nice 1990 Ken Smith BT-4 bass guitar! This one is in very good condition overall.
Specs include koa body wings, a 5-piece maple/mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, dot inlays and brass nut. It has a 34” scale length with a 1.5” nut width. It’s loaded with dual Ken Smith pickups and sports active electronics.
The bass shows light signs of use and play. It has some light wear and patina on the parts and hardware. The finish shows light dings and surface marks, but is void of any major dents or damage. The frets are in good shape.
It weighs in at 8lbs 12oz. The neck measures .800 to .860 at the 1st and 12th frets. The neck has a rounded C profile that is a touch more oval C higher up the register. The bass is extremely well built with a lightweight feel. It’s balanced in your lap with nice response under the right hand. It has a good bass note with warm, biting mids and excellent clarity.
