Here we have a super cool Jay Turner JTB-2B semi-hollow violin bass! This ever-popular instrument is in excellent condition overall.

It has a maple body, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays and die cast tuners. It has an adjustable rosewood bridge with trapeze tailpiece and is loaded with dual humbuckers. The controls include dual volumes, a rhythm/solo switch and bass/treble tone switches.

This one is in great shape and even has the original protective plastic on the pickup surrounds. There are a few faint signs of handling and light topical marks, but nothing in the way of damage.

The bass weighs 5lbs 10oz. The neck measures .860 to .940 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has a large rounded C neck profile that almost flattens at the apex. It plays great up and down the neck and has that classic thumping tone you’d expect!. This is a popular alternative to pricier versions, and for good reason!
