Here we have a 1998 Jackson SL1 Soloist! This guitar is in very good condition for its age.

Specs include neck-through-body construction with a maple neck, ebony board and shark fin inlays. It has Jackson tuners and a Floyd Rose original tremolo. It’s loaded with Duncan pickups with the HSS configuration.

This guitar appears to be original, though it is missing the tremolo cavity cover and one of the screws from the backplate. It has light surface scratches on the body with some areas of concentrated wear around the trem cavity, on the treble side of the strings, and around the knobs. The hardware shows a little patina, and there’s a tiny paint chip at the very tip of the headstock. There isn’t much else in the way of dents, and there doesn’t appear to be any other paint chips. The strap buttons are changed to chrome Schaller units. The case has a light odor of tobacco though the guitar doesn’t seem to.

It weighs 7lbs 15oz. The neck measures .760 to .840 at the 1st and 12th frets. It has the classic slim C Jackson profile you’d expect. The guitar is quite slinky, easy to bend on, and really plays nicely up and down the register. The frets are in great shape and we love the light metallic finish.

Ships in the original case and includes the tremolo arm.
