Here we have a brand new Iris MS-00 12-fret acoustic guitar! This Mark Stuntman spec model features an Adirondack spruce top with a stain nitrocellulose finish.
Other specs include mahogany back and sides, a mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard and a rosewood bridge. It has scalloped Adirondack bracing, solid linings, a bone nut and a bone saddle. The nut width is 1 3/4” with a 16” radius and a 24.75” scale length.
This one weighs 3lbs 6oz. The neck measures .920 to .990 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has the Iris modified V-neck profile that has a full vintage depth with a soft V apex. The guitar has a beautiful acoustic tone with good projection and resonance. It’s articulate and colorful, and sounds sweet both played intimately and opened up.
