Here we have a brand new Iris DF Sloped Shoulder Dreadnought acoustic guitar! This one features a NOS Guild Sitka spruce top.
Other specs include mahogany back & sides, a mahogany neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, Indian rosewood bridge, firestripe guard, ivoroid binding, and open gear tuners. It has a 1 11/16” nut width, 25” scale length, and a 16” radius. The finish is satin nitro and the bracing is Adirondack spruce.
The guitar weighs 3lbs 12oz. The neck measures .870 to .900 at the 1st and 9th frets. It has a rounded medium C neck profile that is consistent in depth up to the heel transition. The guitar has excellent volume and loads of sustain. It produces a classic mahogany round shoulder tone with excellent clarity and nice bass response. We love the old school burst paired with the firestripe guard too.
