Here we have an Iris Guitars AB model acoustic! This small jumbo features a Darkburst finish and a factory K&K pickup.
Specs include a spruce top, mahogany back & sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and rosewood bridge. It has a firestripe guard, vintage style open gear tuners, a bone nut, and bone saddle. The nut width is 1 11/16”, with 2 7/32” bridge spacing, a 16” radius, and 25” scale length.
This one shows some authentic player wear with pick marks around the sound hole and on the guard. There are other topical marks on the top and back the body as well as some tiny dings and impressions into the wood. The back of the neck is glossy from use. There are no cracks or major dents.
The guitar weighs 3lbs 14oz. The neck measures .870 to .910 at the 1st and 10th frets. It has medium C neck shape with a full depth, but not a big shoulder. The guitar has been played-in nicely and has really opened up. It has a warm-mid range with nice clarity, and plenty of volume. The onboard electronics are a nice upgrade too.
