Here is a beautiful Hofner Chancellor archtop! This guitar was built in Germany in 2008 and features a hand-carved top and back.

Spec include a spruce top, curly maple back, maple sides, maple neck, and ebony fretboard. It is a 17" wide guitar with a 25.5" scale length and 1.75" nut width. The tailpiece, bridge, and guard are all ebony, and the guitar features a floating Hofner Diamond Gold pickup.

The guitar is in very good condition. It has a couple faint dings/impressions on the top and a small lacquer chip on the back edge. There are light surface marks and signs of handling but no real dents or damage. One of the set screws where the pickup mounts to the pickup ring is missing.

It weighs 6lbs 6oz. The neck measures .870 to .890 at the 1st and 10th. It has a modern C neck profile that is very familiar. It does not vary much in shape or size as you move up the register. The guitar has wonderful sustain and is quite easy to play. The pickup sounds quite nice. It has a good acoustic tone with low mids and clear treble frequencies reflecting off the top, and a deeper bass response from within the body. Overall a wonderfully-built instrument.
