Here is a beautiful Hofner 500/1 Vintage '64 Violin Bass! This is a genuine 2011 Made In Germany Hofner in excellent condition.
This bass features a spruce top, flame maple back and sides, flame maple neck, and rosewood fretboard. It has a 30" scale length and 42mm nut width. It also features dual Hofner pickups, a mother of pearl pickguard, multi-ply body binding, and a single ply bound neck.
The bass is in excellent condition. It appears to have been case kept and has not seen much playing time. It weighs 4lbs 14oz. The set 3 piece maple neck has a full round C profile about it. The bass plays great up and down the neck. Has that real specific Violin sound, perfect for Beatles tones.
Ships in the original silver flight case and includes a strap and the original hang tag.
