Description
Here we have a cool 12AX7 Firefly mini stack! This 1.5 watt amp is PCB-based and built off the Doug Hammond design. It's handmade with Hammond transformers, carling switches, and 3/4" cabinets faced with teak. It has an 8" Jensen MOD 8/20 speaker, neon indicator light, and JJ tubes. This tiny stack is 20" tall and 11.5" wide. The controls are boost on/off, boost, gain, standby and power. It was hand built in the US and is branded inside by Isaac Lubow.
The amp is in great functioning condition. It works properly and sounds really good. The head could be used to power a larger cabinet as well. The cabinets show some light wear and dust. The matte black surface of them holds dust easily. The chassis shows some scuffs and wear as well.
Overall this is a fun little tube amp, great for a bedroom or something unique to mic up in your studio.
