16" Hollow Body Tennessean with Arc-Tone Bracing
The Gretsch Tennessean Hollow Body is a fully hollow, single-cutaway guitar built on a 16"-wide, 2.5"-deep laminated maple body with Arc-Tone bracing. This Deep Cherry Stain configuration features white binding with black purfling and a silver plexi pickguard with black Gretsch logo. Hardware is nickel throughout. Made in Japan.
The neck is maple with a Standard “U” profile, set into the body, with a 24.6" scale length and a 1.6875" nut width. The rosewood fingerboard has rolled edges, a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid neo-classic thumbnail inlays, and Luminlay side dots. The nut is Graph Tech TUSQ XL.
PRO-FT Filter'Tron Pickups & Controls
Neck and bridge positions each carry a PRO-FT Filter'Tron humbucking pickup. The control layout includes individual volume knobs for each pickup, a master volume with treble bleed circuit, and a master no-load tone control with a “Squeezebox” capacitor. Pickup selection is via a 3-position toggle. Knobs are G-Arrow style.
Hardware & Appointments
Hardware is nickel throughout. The tailpiece is a Bigsby B6CP in a string-thru configuration, paired with an Adjusto-Matic bridge on a pinned rosewood base. Tuners are Gotoh locking, and Grover strap locks are included. Comes with a G6241 Gretsch 16" deluxe hollow body hardshell case.
